Our Northern California clinics are made up of a community of physicians and staff members that are thrilled to be working together serving patients through alternative medicine. Dr. Hanya Barth has always been the heart of Compassionate Health Options.  Her compassionate nature and her in-depth knowledge of alternative medicine have been a guiding light for the physicians and staff that make up this organization. 
 
Our Medical Director, Dr. Malka, brings both science and healing skills to her work as a physician. Prior to joining CHO, she earned a doctorate in molecular genetics and was the medical director of a successful Integrative Medicine clinic in Santa Cruz for 15 years. She is Board certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and loves to educate patient and colleagues about successful natural healing practices. Her understanding of cannabis as a herbal medicine is a valuable insight for physicians and patients alike.
